Meg "Pie" Pollard

A Tennessee native, Pollard was raised around creative women. Her aunt painted and her grandmother sewed. She was drawn to painting, as it came naturally to her, as she has been working with 2D materials since the age of three.

Pollard's work is moivated by her family, friends, favorite cartoons and films, the 1970's and 1990's, and female rappers from the 1990's. She often produces work after an hour of dancing to energize and inspire her process.
